Cordes en Folie – Handmade Macramé Creations

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products offered on the Cordes en Folie website (the "Website"), operated by:

By placing an order on the Website, the customer fully accepts these Terms and Conditions.

2. Products

The products offered are handmade macramé creations designed and crafted by Cordes en Folie.

As each item is individually handmade, slight variations in color, texture, size, or appearance may occur compared to the photographs displayed on the Website.

Such variations are inherent to handcrafted products and shall not be considered defects.

3. Orders

Customers may place orders through the Website by selecting products and completing the online checkout process.

Any order constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, the prices, and the product descriptions available on the Website.

Cordes en Folie reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of an existing dispute, non-payment, suspected fraud, or any other legitimate reason.

4. Prices

All prices are displayed in euros (€).

Shipping costs are specified before the order is confirmed.

Cordes en Folie reserves the right to modify prices at any time. However, products will be invoiced based on the prices in effect at the time the order is placed.

5. Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of ordering.

Accepted payment methods include:

PayPal

Payments are processed through Shopify Payments and other secure payment providers.

6. Production and Shipping

Each creation is handmade, either to order or in small batches.

Production times generally range from 4 business days to 3 weeks, depending on the complexity of the item.

Orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer via Colissimo or Mondial Relay.

Delivery times are provided as estimates only and may vary depending on the season, destination, or carrier conditions.

Cordes en Folie shall not be held responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs authorities.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

"Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized goods."

As many Cordes en Folie creations are handmade and personalized, custom-made products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once the order has been confirmed.

For non-customized products, customers residing in the European Union may exercise their legal right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving their order, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

If a product arrives damaged or if an error has occurred in the order, the customer must contact:

within 7 days of delivery and provide photographs of the issue.

An appropriate solution may then be offered, including repair, replacement, store credit, or refund.

8. Legal Guarantees

Customers benefit from the legal guarantees provided under French law, including the legal guarantee of conformity and protection against hidden defects.

Where applicable, defective products may be repaired, replaced, or refunded in accordance with legal requirements.

9. Liability

All products sold by Cordes en Folie are intended for decorative purposes only.

Cordes en Folie shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from improper use, misuse, or modification of its products.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, photographs, images, logos, designs, and handmade creations, is the exclusive property of Cordes en Folie unless otherwise stated.

Any reproduction, distribution, modification, or use without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.

11. Personal Data

Personal information collected through the Website is used solely for order processing, customer service, and communication purposes.

Data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Customers have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of their personal data by contacting:
